Requirements for the Position

Required Education (Level and Field)

  • Doctor of Science degree (pre-Bologna programme) in Mechanical Engineering or another natural sciences or technical field; or
  • Doctor of Science degree (third-cycle Bologna programme / PhD) in Mechanical Engineering or another natural sciences or technical field.

Valid Academic Title (Habilitation)

  • Research Assistant or Assistant in the field of Thermal and Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Candidates who do not yet hold the required academic title must obtain it within four months from the commencement of employment.

  • Knowledge and practical experience in the field of heat pumps and refrigeration technology and/or engineering design.

General Description

  • Scientific research work and professional work related to research activities;
  • Professional cooperation with clients commissioning research projects;
  • Preparation of written reports, research studies and expert opinions;
  • Participation in undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes;
  • Preparation of proposals for the procurement of research equipment, maintenance of equipment and ordering of consumables;
  • Performing tasks within the employee’s area of expertise as assigned by the head of the organisational unit and carrying out other duties falling within the broader professional scope of the position.
