Job vacancy: Assistant with PhD

Similarly, this role includes advanced research work in international collaboration within the Horizon Europe project PERSIMMON, which focuses on developing new physiological and biomechanical sensors as wearable patches. The project is a continuation of the successfully completed SINTEC project (see SINTEC Project for more information), completed in 2023.

Position Details:

  • Type of Employment: Temporary, full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Duration: From October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2028

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D.)  (previous or 3rd Bologna degree)
  • The employee must meet this condition no later than 4 months from the beginning of employment
  • Commitment and motivation
  • active knowledge of English language at B2 level according to the European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR).
  • Preferably previous or ongoing involvement in sports
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in measurements with various physiological and biomechanical sensors and basic data processing knowledge in Matlab

General description – Assistant with PhD (H019001):

  • Demanding scientific research and professional work in research
  • Professional collaboration with clients on research projects
  • Preparation of written reports and studies on research and expert opinions
  • Participation in undergraduate and postgraduate education
  • Preparation of proposals for the acquisition of research equipment, maintenance of equipment, and ordering of consumable materials
  • Performing tasks within your field as directed by the head of the organizational unit and other tasks that fall within the broader scope of job position
