Job vacancy: Senior Research Fellow (code: H019008), (M/F)

Employment for: a definite period from 1 October 2025 till 30 September 2027, full-time (40 hours/week)

We are announcing a temporary full-time position (40 hours per week) from October 1, 2025, till September 30, 2027. The scientific research work will be carried out within the following projects Bio-psycho-social context of Kinesiology, AI-based long-term health risk evaluation for driving behaviour change strategies in children and youth (SmartCHANGE), Journey to Adulthood: ACDSi 2024 Decennial Study Unveiling the Dynamics of Adolescent Development in Slovenia, A decennial study on children's and adolescents' secular trends in somatic, motor, psychosocial development and healthy lifestyle.

Conditions of employment:  

Required education:

• PhD degree (the previous one) in a relevant field,
• PhD degree (the third Bologna cycle) in a relevant field;

Functional skills:

• Innovativeness, ability to work in a team, communicativeness, organizational skills

Work experience:

Brief description of the work and tasks:

• scientific research,
• organizing, coordinating, planning, and monitoring work in research activities (within a research group),
• integration of research activities with other research institutions,
• participation in the design of research programmes and undergraduate and postgraduate studies,
• professional cooperation with research task clients,
• preparation of research reports and studies,
• care for a safe and healthy work of the unit's employees and students, appropriate education and instruction of those who come into contact with dangerous substances, the use of personal protective equipment, and other safety measures.
• Performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the job position.
