The selected candidate will be employed in the position Researcher (job classification code H017004) to work on the ARIS project titled: Development of Advanced Techniques for Knowledge Discovery in Data and Subgroup Analysis for Bibliometric Analysis: the Python package Biblium and the Orangebib add-on for Orange.

The position is fixed-term, part time (20hr/week), unitl 30 September 2026. The probation period is three monts.

Required education

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications in mathematics, computer science and informatics, statistics, or related fields:

• Postgraduate specialization (pre-Bologna system)
• University degree (pre-Bologna system)
• Master's degree (second Bologna cycle)

Functional knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of programming in Python, the ability to use computer tools and software, active knowledge of English, the ability to organize one’s own work, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Main responsibilities:

• Conducting scientific research and professional work within the ARIS project Development of Advanced Techniques for Knowledge Discovery in Data and Subgroup Analysis for Bibliometric Analysis: the Python package Biblium and the Orangebib add-on for Orange,
• Organizing, coordinating, planning, and monitoring research activities within the research group,
• Establishing connections between the research group and other research institutions,
• Professional collaboration with clients commissioning research tasks,
• Preparing research reports and analytical documents.
