• part-time employment (20%)

Requirements for the position:

• Required education (level and field): doctoral degree (former study programme) or doctoral degree (3^rd Bologna level) in the field of geotechnology and mining or engineering, respectively.
• Valid habilitation title: research counsellor or professor in the field of applied geophysics or geotechnology and mining or surveying.
• Functional skills and specific requirements: innovation, ability to organise own work and the work of colleagues, communication skills.

Short work and assignment description:

• scientific-research work in the programme P1-0011 Regional geology/P1-0195 Geoenvironment and geomaterials,
• organising, coordinating, planning and monitoring the work of the research activity (within the research team),
• linking research activities with other research institutions,
• participation in designing research programmes and participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies,
• professional cooperation with research assignment sponsors,
• preparing detailed research reports and studies on research,
• taking care of safe and healthy work for colleagues and students at the unit, ensuring appropriate education and training for colleagues who come into contact with dangerous substances, using personal protective equipment and paying attention to other safety measures,
• performing other tasks which fall within the scope of the wider professional field of the workplace.
