POSITION: Researcher under a special international contract 1 (m/f)

CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- Master´s degree or its equivalent in Physics, Materials Science, Photonics Engineering, Microsystems Engineering or a related field from a recognized university and should be eligible as a doctoral candidate at the University of Ljubljana (in the study year 2024/25) (foreign documents may be used in the Republic of Slovenia if they are duly certified in the country of origin, in accordance with the Act on the Legalization of Documents in International Traffic; documents issued in the states that signed the Hague Convention of abolishing the Requirement of Legalization of Foreign Public Documents must be certified with the Apostille stamp),
- a solid foundation in physics and/or materials science and/or photonics engineering,
- fulfilment of the other conditions for the conclusion of the training funding contract in relation to the international call and the conditions of the international funding,
- at the time of recruitment, the applicant must not have resided (or carried out her/his main activity, e.g. work, studies, etc.) in Slovenia, for more than 12 months in the last 3 years immediately prior to the reference recruitment date,
- excellent command of the English language,

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- research work on an international project Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network (MSCA-DN) “Magnetic Soft Matter for Robotics” (MAESTRI, Grant ID 101119614),
- organise, coordinate, plan and monitor research activities,
- the provision of training for work in the field of research,
- link research activities with other research institutions,
- perform the work as directed by the person directly responsible (project manager),
- perform other work as specified in the job description.
