The post is open for a fixed term of 26 months on a part-time basis (8 hours/week).

The successful candidate will work in the framework of the project ' Joint Action on CARdiovascular diseases and Diabetes ' (project acronym: JACARDI).

Conditions of employment:

Required qualification in 'Social sciences':

• PhD (previous) or PhD (previous).
• PhD (previous).

Valid habilitation title: Research Associate or Assistant Professor in the relevant social science field. If, at the time of application, the candidate does not hold the required title but meets the quantitative and qualitative conditions for election to that title, he/she may apply for the post in question, in which case he/she must submit with his/her application evidence of fulfilment of these conditions, together with a declaration that he/she agrees that, if the selection board so decides, his/her application will be considered as an application for election to that title.

• Functional skills and other requirements for the post: Innovative, good organisational skills, communicative, knowledge of Slovene at level B2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If the foreigner does not fulfil this condition at the time of filling the post, he/she must indicate.

Work experience : /

Qualitative research design, qualitative data collection, qualitative analysis (advanced), quantitative analysis (basic) and reporting and scientific publishing in the social and health sciences.

Brief description of the work and tasks:

• Scientific research,
• organising, coordinating, planning and monitoring research activities (within a research group),
• liaising research activities with other research institutions, participating in the formulation of research programmes,
• professional cooperation with research sponsors,
• preparation of research reports and studies,
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader area of expertise of the post.
