Application for enrolment and recognition of foreign education
Application for enrolment

Candidates submit the application for enrolment and recognition of foreign education through the eVŠ web portal:

  1. by means of electronic identification of at least a medium level of reliability (with a qualified digital certificate, smsPASS, e-ID card) or by means of an AAI account (authentication and authorisation infrastructure account) - application is considered if submitted through the eVŠ web portal before the application deadline as defined by the relevant call for enrolment,
  2. using a username and password (SI PASS) - application is considered if submitted through the eVŠ web portal before the deadline as defined in the relevant call for enrolment.

The candidates should submit all the required supplements (e-copies or scans of the original documents) through the eVŠ web portal before the deadline as defined in the relevant call for enrolment. They should not send the printed e-application and the supplements via e-mail or by post!

A International students of EU Member States.
B International students with permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia if they or at least one of their parents or guardians are taxpayers in Slovenia.
C Persons granted international/temporary protection and applicants for international/temporary protection.
D Available enrolment slots for bachelor's and master's full-time degree programme provision for Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship are announced separately.
E International students of non-EU countries with which the Republic of Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreements*.
F International students of non-EU countries with which the Republic of Slovenia has not concluded bilateral agreement.

* Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreements with North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
 

  • Available places for bachelor's and master's full-time degree programme provision for international students (E, F), as a rule, cannot exceed 20% of the available places for Slovenian citizens and EU citizens.
  • Available places for bachelor's and master's part-time degree programme provision for international students (E, F), as a rule, cannot exceed 50% of the available places for Slovenian citizens and EU citizens.
  • International citizens may apply for all available places in doctoral degree programmes.
