Alenka Golob »Risbe in akvareli«
In September 2026, the Gallery of the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, will host an exhibition by Alenka Golob entitled Risbe in akvareli (Drawings and Watercolours). The exhibition presents a selection of landscape, urban and architectural motifs in which spontaneous drawing gestures intertwine with delicate watercolour washes, revealing the artist’s personal view of space and nature.

Exhibition Imperfections
Exhibition by the textile and fashion design programme at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana, exhibits the exploration of imperfections in contemporary fashion that students understand as a space of authenticity, different perspectives on beauty, and the world around us.

Cosmos Kosovel
The exhibition marks the centennial of the death of Srečko Kosovel and traces the journey of his life and work in chronological order. On display will be original manuscripts, personal belongings, documentary materials, his first publications in books and periodicals, as well as works by his contemporaries who influenced his understanding of art, space, and society. The exhibition was designed by students at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana.

In October, the Gallery of the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana (UL EF) will host an exhibition titled “Pastir podobe" (The Shepherd of Images) by photographer Jon Žagar. The photographic series explores the relationship between the photographer and the subject, as well as questions of presence, distance, gaze, and the creation of the photographic image.

NTFashion Day at Ljubljana Fashion Week 2026
NTFashion Day, held as part of Ljubljana Fashion Week (LJFW), will feature fashion shows by students and mentors from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana (UL NTF). The main event of the evening will be a fashion show by UL NTF students titled “Imperfections,” which will showcase a year’s worth of the students’ best collections. Approximately 170 fashion silhouettes by undergraduate and graduate students will be presented, reflecting their explorations and reflections on fashion.

Igor Stravinsky: Mavra and Maurice Ravel: The Child and the Spells
This autumn, the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana (UL AG), and Cankarjev dom, will present two original operas from the first half of the 20th century. The stage will host the witty opera buffa Mavra, written by Igor Stravinsky based on a story by Pushkin, and the "lyrical fantasy" The Child and the Spells (L’Enfant et les sortilèges), set to music by Maurice Ravel based on a libretto by Colette.
