Be part of the EUTOPIA Young Leaders Academy

The University of Ljubljana, as part of the EUTOPIA Alliance, invites researchers to apply for the Young Leaders Academy (YLA). The aim of the YLA is to support exchanges between YLA researchers and their professional development.
The call is open to female and male researchers 2-12 years post-doctoral who are employed at one of EUTOPIE's partner universities: the University of Ljubljana, the University of Warwick, CY Cergy Paris, the University of Gothenburg, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, NOVA Lisbon, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Dresden University of Technology and Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj. YLA members will be appointed for a two-year term. The University of Ljubljana will select up to two candidates from all applications, subject to approval by the YLA Commission at EUTOPIA level. The selected candidate(s) will start their term of office in November 2023. The selected candidate(s) will receive a mobility grant of € 5000.
The YLA members will constitute a community of promising independent research leaders at EUTOPIA level who promote and share the European values and the Alliance's vision of an interconnected academic environment. YLA is an opportunity for members to:
- develop research leadership skills through a specific training programme;
- engage in interdisciplinary exchanges and networking, both with other YLA members and with the wider EUTOPIA research community;
- initiate research collaborations within the EUTOPIA Alliance;
- contribute to the development of challenge-based learning units for students;
- act as ambassadors for EUTOPIA.
