The University of Ljubljana participated in the online FPP fair for the Sub-Saharan region, held on October 15. During the fair, interested candidates from the region could visit the University of Ljubljana’s virtual stand, which featured brochures, videos, and information about studying at the university. There was also an option for direct communication with the university through the chat option, which further encouraged many candidates to inquire about studies at the university.
In the coming years and decades, strengthening higher education and research capacities– which are currently very limited in Sub-Saharan Africa– will be crucial to the continent's development. The University of Ljubljana actively promotes increased support for these partnerships and is already involved in several initiatives with African universities. That's why we are very happy to have participated in the FPP online fair for Sub-Saharan Africa this year.
This fair was intended for candidates interested in postgraduate studies. Candidates were interested in almost all fields of study offered by the University of Ljubljana, and they particularly liked the quality and benefits of studying, especially the co-funding of doctoral studies.
We invite all interested candidates to join us at the upcoming online events!
