About the programme

The combined master study programme Education in theology can be combined with respectful study programmes of the Faculty of Arts.

The fundamental goal of the programme Education in theology is to provide the student with the basic knowledge in the field of theology and religious studies (humanistic-philosophical, religious, biblical, historical and dogmatic-ecclesiological knowledge); to enable the student to transfer the theoretical knowledge into living practice, i.e. to use the knowledge in solving questions that are raised by religious and theological issues; to form the student’s spiritual-ethical stance; to enable the student for interdisciplinary thinking and acting.
