Physical education

The master's study programme Physical education prepares students for teaching physical education in primary and secondary schools, with emphasis on delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum, fostering knowledge, skills and understanding of the impact of physical activity and sport for active life-style of children and youth.

PE teacher can also deliver extra-curricular sport programmes at clubs or private companies. The study provides professional and academic proficiency with a range of pedagogical, didactical and management skills that guarantee differentiation or individualisation of goals, learning tasks and teaching styles appropriate for various groups of students or individuals, reflective thinking and appropriate decision-making.
