Faculty of Sport

As a member of the University of Ljubljana, the Faculty of Sport (UL FSP) wants to be among the most prestigious faculties in the national and international arena. It will be able to achieve this through interesting degree programmes, lifelong learning programmes, cutting-edge scientific research and the development of cutting-edge technology, as well as professional and advisory work that provides adequate support for sports and educational practice.

The fundamental aim of the Faculty is to train highly educated graduates who will be able to perform their profession with high quality, to work in different fields of sport and to contribute to the culture of health. The Faculty is able to achieve this goal through competent staff in the fields of teaching, professional and scientific research, international cooperation, the use of modern information technologies, the integration of studies with research and practice, quality assurance, developed extracurricular activities, the attraction of foreign students and eminent foreign professors, and involvement in international projects and programmes. With a focus on the applicability of knowledge and the employability of graduates, the Faculty will strengthen research and development cooperation with practice and work in partnership with various institutions.
