About the programme

The second cycle of the Speech and Language Therapy and Surdopedagogy study programme is designed to expand upon the theoretical knowledge, understanding, and skills gained in the first cycle. Students will be trained in the use of diagnostic tools and the delivery of more complex treatments in various areas of auditory and speech-language pathology. Through interdisciplinary study, students will deepen their knowledge and skills in the basic and applied disciplines of pedagogy, medicine, and linguistics. Upon completion of the study programme, graduates will be able to work independently as a speech and language therapist and pursue doctoral studies. The programme aims to teach students to critically follow and reflect on recent advances in theory and practice. At the same time, they will be encouraged to explore new sources of knowledge by applying scientific research methods to address more challenging issues in speech and language therapy, and surdopedagogy.
