The University of Ljubljana and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport have signed contracts on the co-financing of the construction of a new building for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine campus on Vrazov Square. The contracts provide for the co-financing of projects within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, with a total value of 131,930,062.17 €, of which 89,334,624.00 € will be provided from the EU budget within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, and 42,595,438.17 € from the budget of the Republic of Slovenia. The project is due to be completed by the end of the current year.

The new building of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Ljubljana will be located next to the existing facilities of the Faculty on the Mestni log Road. The facility will be divided into two interconnected buildings. The higher building will have five floors and will be used for teaching and institutes, while the lower building will have three floors and will be used for clinics. The roof of the lower building will be developed as a multi-purpose green space. The building will enable teaching, research and clinical processes to be carried out at the highest level.
