Setting up a Reading Motivator in the Digital Age: introducing new approaches of reading for pleasure pedagogy in primary schools
The project addresses the challenge of making more space for reading for pleasure in schools, which, according to many studies, is the foundation of reading motivation, a key starting point for the development of reading competences and the best possible pathway to academic success, as well as a solid basis for various forms of social and cultural participation. Studies show a decline in reading motivation after the age of 10, which is why the project focuses on the 9-11 age group.
