Students and staff wishing to complete part of their study obligations, teaching activities, or training abroad within the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme must submit an application in accordance with the instructions of their respective faculty. More information about the specific application process for exchanges can be obtained from the Erasmus+ contact persons at the participating faculties.

General information about applications

The exchange must take place in a participating partner country that is neither the country of the sending organization nor the applicant's country of residence.

Eligible applicants are:

  • Students who maintain an active student status at their home faculty at the University of Ljubljana (UL) throughout the exchange period and have settled any financial obligations under the Erasmus or Erasmus+ programme.
  • Employees of UL (employed under a contract in accordance with the Employment Relationships Act: fixed-term/permanent, full-time/part-time). If the participant is simultaneously employed at another higher education institution or vocational college, they must provide a certificate from the institution or college confirming that no funding has been received from another employer for the same mobility.

The faculty must have a signed Inter-institutional Agreement with the partner institution before the mobility takes place.

It is mandatory to check the entry conditions for the destination country on the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs website.
