Prof. Miha Rogina

Prof. Miha Rogina is renowned for his innovative interpretations of musical works. He teaches saxophone and directs the wind orchestra at the Academy of Music of the University of Ljubljana. He also holds the position of Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, where he has, with dedication and commitment, started the process of revamping the study programmes to make them comparable to those at the most successful foreign music universities and academies. Senior Research Associate Dr Anna Magdalena Dragoš

Senior Research Associate Dr Anna Magdalena Dragoš is one of the world leaders in research on bacteriophages and bacterial interactions in biofilms. She was the first recipient of a prestigious European Research Council project at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, and has been instrumental in acquiring state-of-the-art equipment, building a ground-breaking international research team, and establishing collaborations at home and abroad that enhance the reputation of the Faculty and the University.

Prof. Dr Tanja Kunej

Prof. Dr Jurij Jaklič

Prof. Dr Jurij Jaklič is Head of the Academic Unit for Business Informatics and Logistics and Professor of Business Informatics at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. Prof. Dr Irena Drevenšek Olenik

Prof. Dr Matija Marolt

Prof. Dr Mihael Budja

Prof. Dr Mihael Budja has taught Neolithic and Eneolithic Archaeology at the Faculty of Arts for 40 years. He has made a name for himself internationally through his interdisciplinary research and reflection on concepts such as neolithisation. He has published 57 scientific articles. He created the renowned Neolithic Seminars series and the journal Documenta Praehistorica, which is now one of the leading journals in the field of Neolithic studies.

Prof. Dr Danijel Petrovič

Proposed by: Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana

After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ljubljana in 1988, he joined the Faculty and became a full professor in 2011. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Doctor of Science Committee at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, and since 2007 he has been a member of the Committee for Doctoral Studies at the University of Ljubljana. He is active in research. He has published 153 SCI articles in journals with a high impact factor, and his publications have a high h-index. He is a member of the editorial board of three international journals, has supervised 15 completed doctorates, and is currently supervising five doctoral candidates.

Prof. Dr Alenka Pavko Čuden
