From 16 to 27 February 2026, a Special Desk for exchange students will be available at the Administrative Unit Ljubljana. Please ensure you have all required documents ready and the application form completed, as the Administrative Unit expects you to submit everything on the same day.
During the same period, a documentation review will be available at the UL Faculty of Arts, Tobačna ulica 5 (above the restaurant "Marjetica", 3rd floor).
Our International Student Ambassadors will be available every working day to guide you through submitting your residence permit application and to review your paperwork before you apply.
Special Desk
The Special desk will be open during this period:
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm
- Friday from 9am to 12pm
On Thursdays, Administrative Unit is closed.
During this period in which the Special desk is in operation, it is not necessary to book an appointment at the Administrative Unit. After February 27, you must make an appointment to submit your documents as described on this page or drop your documents in the green mailbox directly at the premises of the Administrative Unit Ljubljana.

It is important to go to the document review because then you can apply on time and without errors.
International Student Ambassadors will be available to assist you Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 16 to 27 February, from 9am to 1pm.

Online documentation review and counselling
If you have any questions before coming to Slovenia or before starting your residence permit process, you are welcome to join our online consultations. We will meet on Zoom on 10, 11, and 12 February at 10 am, where we will answer your questions, check your documents, and offer guidance.
