EUTOPIA training for the EUCI Internationalization Certificate 2026
The EUTOPIA Certificate of Internationalisation (EUCI) encourages, recognises, and rewards students' international learning. To obtain the certificate in this academy year, students must attend one of two sets of lectures, provide evidence of at least 30 hours of varied international activities and prepare a portfolio of their work. You can register for the training, which is organized in two terms, until May 1, 2026.

EUTOPIA workshop Rethinking Area Studies for a Changing World
The aim of the workshop is to fundamentally modernize regional studies through a critical reexamination of their Cold War-era and Eurocentric foundations. Through the interdisciplinary integration of Sinology, anthropology, and other disciplines, the event promotes the decolonization of knowledge and the development of new analytical models for understanding a multipolar world. The goal is to establish an ethical, transcultural approach to research that will directly influence the development of contemporary university curricula. The workshop will be conducted in English.

Virtual workshop Transformative Assessment for Integrating Sustainability
While efforts to integrate sustainability into teaching practices have grown, there remains a tendency for the assessment of sustainability competencies to be less prioritized. This workshop aims to bridge that gap by exploring how assessment modalities can be transformed to better align with sustainability goals. Workshop participants will discuss the challenges and opportunities of assessing sustainability competencies through various methods. Through collaborative discussions and practical exercises, participants will gain insights into reimagining assessment practices to assess students' sustainability competencies. The workshop is organized by University of Gothenburg, partner within EUTOPIA MORE project.

Summer School on the Use of Chatbots in Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences
CY Cergy Paris University, a partner university within the EUTOPIA Alliance, is organizing a summer school this year on the topic of digital media and the use of chatbots in research. The summer school is intended for master’s students, doctoral students, and researchers in the humanities and social sciences who are engaged in research on the digital space. The summer school will take place from June 15 to 19. Applications are being accepted until May 15.

Summer School Design+Science
Design+Science is a multidisciplinary Summer School that promotes exploration and experimentation at the intersection of design and various scientific fields, led by renowned experts in their respective fields. This week-long Summer School includes workshops, guest lectures, tours, and other activities. Theme of this year's summer school, which will take place between 6th and 10th July in Piran, is the sea: we approach it as a thinking partner, a 3.8 billion year old, self regulating, interdependent system that has outlasted any model we have built. Application is possible until May 29.

The programme structure comprises a combination of lectures, seminars, and study groups, alongside an optional assessment component. Deadline for application is May 31.
