    Understanding Slovenian River Ecosystems: Ecology, Fish Research and Environmental Management

    International four-day workshop will explore the diversity of Slovenian rivers, modern research methods in ichthyology and hydrobiology, and best practices in aquatic ecosystem restoration and management. Organized by the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana in collaboration with international partners, the event combines expert theoretical lectures, hands-on fieldwork, and an educational excursion. The program is aimed at students, researchers, and professionals in nature conservation and water management. Deadline for application is September 4, 2026.

    Inclusive Longevity Society: Dignity in Ageing

    The University of Ljubljana Competence Center for Social Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing, in cooperation with partners of the European University Alliance EUTOPIA, is organising the international scientific conference Inclusive Longevity Society: Dignity in Ageing, which will be held on 16 and 17 September 2026 in the Chamber Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Ljubljana. The honorary patron and speaker at the conference is the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Nataša Pirc Musar.

    The International Conference of Undergraduate Research ICUR 2026

    The International Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR) is once again offering undergraduate students from around the world the opportunity to present their research on an international platform. The virtual conference will take place on September 28 and 29 at the University of Warwick, a partner university within the EUTOPIA Alliance. The deadline for submitting contributions is March 30.

    Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme Urban Education

    EUTOPIA Connected Community Urban Education invites you to participate in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program. The program is designed to discuss and address educational challenges in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, such as school organization, school-community partnerships, infrastructure, and inclusive education. The program will take place both virtually and in person between October and December 2026.

    EUTOPIA Autumn School 2026: A Linguistic and Literary Perspective on Multilingual Societies

    The Autumn School: A Linguistic and Literary Perspective on Multilingual Societies invites Bachelor's and Master's students, from the EUTOPIA Network and beyond, to reflect on the challenges that highly multilingual societies are faced with, and on the opportunities that such diverse societies can offer. The seminar itself will take place between 9 and 13 November, and the deadline for registration is 1 October.

    The University of Warwick, a partner within the EUTOPIA Alliance, is once again inviting undergraduate and graduate students to submit posters showcasing their research achievements. The goal of the project is to encourage research among undergraduate students and strengthen connections between them and policymakers across Europe. The deadline for submissions is May 18.
