About the programme

Master’s degree in philosophy helps students broaden and advance their knowledge of philosophical problems arising from various theoretical and methodological approaches.
Through detailed analysis of selected philosophical problems and careful formulation of solutions to these problems, through reflection on demanding philosophemes, through reading, analysis and interpretation of basic philosophical texts and through careful assessment of complex lines of argumentation and critical use of professional literature, students successfully acquire skills needed for independent scientific and investigative work in the field of philosophy and other scientific fields, as well as the ability to formulate answers to basic philosophical questions and problems.

The main objective of the study program is to qualify graduates for productive work in research and educational institutions, or for independent and creative work in libraries, editorial boards in publishing houses, media companies and other institutions safeguarding, analysing and nourishing both global and local philosophical, as well as more general humanistic heritage.
