About the programme

The professional bachelor study programme Geotechnology and Mining offers an education steeped in the natural sciences and engineering, following the latest developments in professions centring on geoscience and non-living matter. Increasingly, we have also seen the need for students to acquire other knowledge, for example from the areas of environmental protection, economics and IT. Mineral extraction, underground construction, and so on are activities which interfere in our environment.

Program Geotechnology and Mining is therefore clamped between both of given scientific research disciplins. Knowledge and skills of graduates of Geotechnology and mining provide wide opportunities for employment in various sectors of the business, researching and other fields.
