About the programme

The Second-cycle Master’s study programme in Industrial Pharmacy is designed for graduates of natural sciences (chemistry, biotechnology, cosmetology, and related fields) who have completed their first-cycle Bologna degree. The programme offers a wide range of compulsory and elective courses covering key areas such as materials, chemical and biotechnological processes, technological processes, analytics, quality assurance systems, industrial property, and legislation and other regulations. This provides students with interdisciplinary knowledge, enabling them to understand the entire drug manufacturing process and the operations of the pharmaceutical industry.

Graduates of the programme can pursue various career paths—ranging from research and development of new medicines, industrial production, and process validation, to control and analytical laboratories, registration, and pharmaceutical marketing. The programme does not qualify graduates for the regulated profession of a pharmacist, nor for the role of a pharmaceutical information officer (medical representative). Instead, it opens doors to a wide spectrum of professional roles requiring in-depth knowledge of natural sciences, engineering, and regulation, ensuring excellent career opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry and related laboratories.
