The Faculty of Pharmacy (UL FFA) is one of the younger members of the University of Ljubljana, but with a 50-year tradition of education for the pharmaceutical and clinical biochemistry profession. The Faculty of Pharmacy is an active member of the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy and the Pharmine Consortium for the establishment of a network for quality assurance in pharmacy education and training.

The characteristics of the studies at UL FFA are high student motivation, a high interdisciplinarity of the programmes, a variety of study approaches and good links with potential employers, both in business (pharmaceutical industry, wholesalers, representative offices) and in the public sector (pharmacies, hospitals, medical laboratories). We place a strong emphasis on involving students in research work at all three levels of education. The Faculty offers students the opportunity to study at 40 universities in Europe with which it has signed student exchange agreements. During their studies, students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and competences, which is reflected in the good employability of our graduates.
