About the programme
Kinesiology is an interdisciplinary science that studies human voluntary movement, which has a wide range of applications in research, sport and fitness, medical rehabilitation and elsewhere. Highly trained professionals in this field are important for translating new scientific knowledge into applied applications. The main aim of the Kinesiology doctoral programme is to train independent researchers with broad expertise and in-depth basic methodological knowledge, who will be able to carry out independent and creative scientific research and development work in kinesiology, while at the same time being able to work as a team with experts in various other fields.
How to apply
For the call for enrolment, candidates have to apply on the eVŠ online portal.
At the latest at the time of enrolment, the candidate must submit a written agreement from the mentor or possible co-mentor to accept the mentoring or co-mentoring. At the same time, the candidate must also submit a brief conceptual outline of the research.
Deadline
First application deadline: 1 September 2024, 23:59 CET.
Second application deadline: from 12 to 23 September 2024, 23:59 CET.
Information day
The information day will take place on 11 April 2024 at 14:00 at the Faculty of Sport, Gortanova ulica 22, Ljubljana, in a hybrid format, in the meeting room of the Institute of Sport and online. Candidates can obtain all information and instructions on the Faculty's website.
Tuition
Tuition fees by year:
€ 5,500 for the 1st year
€ 3,400 for the 2nd year
€ 3,000 for the 3rd year
€ 2,400 for the 4th year
That is € 14,300 for the whole study programme.
