About the programme

The fundamental objective of the programme is to provide graduates with high-quality education and a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding in the broad field of mechanical engineering. Upon completion of the studies, this equips the graduates with appropriate competencies for employment and, for those who continue their studies, provides a suitable basis for research-oriented postgraduate education. The programme also aims to develop the ability for critical analysis and synthesis, while fostering a strong sense of professional engineering responsibility. Through education in the broad field of mechanical engineering, comparable to related study programmes across Europe, graduates of the programme are capable of interdisciplinary integration of knowledge from different engineering fields.
