Studies in the programme lead to practicing a regulated profession.

The essential goal of the single-cycle master study programme Medicine is to educate graduates who will be able to upgrade their basic knowledge through speciality training and develop the sience of medicine. This aim is achieved through a programme that integrates theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Teaching is done through group work, seminars, lectures and own, mainly research projects. Theoretical teaching takes place at the institutions of the Medical faculty. Practical clinical training takes place in teaching hospitals and in primary care, where students participate in the daily practical work with patients under the supervision of specialist doctors, who are trained educators.

The candidates have to provide evidence of Slovenian language skills proficiency at level B2 of Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR).
