The fundamental objective of integrated master's study programme in Medicine is to train professionals to perform professional work and tasks in the field of medicine, while also providing them with an appropriate basis for further professional development within the framework of specialisations and/or continuation of studies at the doctoral level. The fundamental objectives of the study programme define the necessary knowledge and skills that graduates will acquire for understanding medicine as a science (vertical pillar MEDICINE AS A SCIENCE), professional development (vertical pillar PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT) and for the independent performance of work and tasks related to patients and the community in the field of medicine (vertical pillar PATIENT- AND COMMUNITY-ORIENTED MEDICINE).
