About the programme
The master study programme Supply chain and logistics trains professionals such as specialists in logistics for large systems (i.e., leading managers at logistics companies and logistics centers of other companies), logistics analysts, logistic system planners and designers, logistics personnel supervisors, researchers at institutes studying and developing challenging supply systems, and production and business logistics advisors for small companies without their own development centers.
The Master’s programme in Business Logistics will develop a graduate profile with the following general competences: analyzing, synthesizing, and envisaging solutions and consequences in managing logistic systems and chains; using analytical R&D methods, tools, and procedures in business logistics critical thinking and evaluation;understanding the current logistic processes of internationalization and globalization, and the challenges these processes pose for contemporary managers; understanding business process management principles (analysis, modeling, simulations, and modernizing business processes) within the company and in affiliated companies; integrating comprehension of effective resolution of problemmes, their analysis, the issues involved in implementing planned solutions, and effective monitoring of this implementation.
