Duration

Students (Short-Term Mobility for Studies and Traineeships):

  • Minimum duration: 5 days.
  • Maximum duration: Up to 30 days, depending on the funds available in the national call and prior Erasmus+ mobilities.

Students (Long-Term Mobility for Studies and Traineeships):

  • Minimum duration: 2 months.
  • Maximum duration: Up to 12 months per study cycle, depending on the funds available in the national call and prior Erasmus+ mobilities.

Staff (Mobility for Teaching or Training):

  • Minimum duration: 5 days, excluding additional travel days.
  • Maximum duration: Up to 60 days, subject to the availability of funds in the national call.

Additional Requirements for Staff Teaching Mobility:

  • A minimum of 8 teaching hours per week (or at least 8 hours for the entire period for shorter mobilities).
  • For combined teaching and training mobilities, the requirement is reduced to a minimum of 4 teaching hours per week.
  • For mobilities longer than one week, the minimum number of hours must be proportional to the duration of the exchange.

Virtual Mobilities:

  • No Erasmus+ grant is provided for periods where students or staff conduct mobility solely online from home.
  • The grant is only awarded for the time of actual physical presence abroad, regardless of whether the mobility abroad is carried out virtually, physically, or as a combination of both.

Limitations

The host institution must be a higher education institution with which the University of Ljubljana (UL) has a signed inter-institutional agreement.

Based on the available funds, the UL International Relations Office may set a maximum number of funded days and limit the total number of approved mobilities.

An Erasmus+ grant cannot be awarded for:

  • Activities completed before the online application submission.
  • Mobilities for which the grant agreement was not signed prior to the end of the exchange.
