Sustainability Strategy
With the University of Ljubljana Sustainability Strategy, we want to strengthen the contribution and commitment of the UL to shaping the sustainable transformation of society through its research, development, and artistic work, as well as its own daily business processes. In preparing the strategy, we therefore took into account the principle of integrating sustainability aspects into all areas of the university's activities, which is also reflected in the strategic goals and sustainability areas that have been formulated. This document represents the first holistic UL strategy in the field of sustainability and supports the objectives of the umbrella UL Strategy 2022–2027.
The key areas of sustainability and related measures in accordance with the Strategy cover the structure and processes for achieving the University of Ljubljana's sustainability goals, sustainability-oriented education, research, development, and artistic creation, sustainable spatial development, work and living, and cooperation with the environment and knowledge transfer in accordance with the sustainability principles.
