The main activity of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana (UL FE) is the education of electrical engineering professionals. The Faculty offers three first cycle programmes (Electrical Engineering, Applied Electrical Engineering and Multimedia Communications), as well as a Master's degree and a Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering.

The Faculty has developed a network of international links and organises scientific meetings, facilitates participation in international research and applied projects, and encourages mobility of students and teachers. UL FE graduates use the knowledge acquired at the Faculty to build and manage the electrical engineering industry in Slovenia or to use their knowledge and skills to establish themselves abroad.
