About the programme

The doctoral programme in Law is designed for graduates of the second Bologna cycle who wish to deepen their knowledge in their chosen field of law. The aim of the doctoral programme is to provide an in-depth study of a specific legal issue, connection or institute, with the possibility of interdisciplinary treatment if the topic is complex. Through in-depth theoretical study and the application of various methods of scientific research, doctoral candidates will acquire specialised legal knowledge in a chosen field related to their research work.

Admission requirements and application for enrolment

Call for Enrolment in Doctoral Degree Programmes in the 2026/2027 Academic Year

For the call for enrolment, candidates have to apply on the eVŠ online portal.

At the latest at the time of enrolment, the candidate must submit a written agreement from the mentor or possible co-mentor to accept the mentoring or co-mentoring. At the same time, the candidate must also submit a brief conceptual outline of the research.
