About the programme
The development and global competitiveness of an economy is based on the ability to continuously design and develop new technologies, products and services with high added value. This dictates the need for highly educated and creative human resources capable of adapting to the extremely rapid developments of the 21st century. The fundamental objective of the Mechanical Engineering Doctoral Programme is to train highly qualified professionals to carry out independent scientific research work, to create new knowledge and to plan development work in the mechanical engineering sciences. The programme places particular emphasis on teamwork and interdisciplinary integration. The transfer of new knowledge into the economic environment is also of major importance.
Admission requirements and application for enrolment
For the call for enrolment, candidates have to apply on the eVŠ online portal.
At the latest at the time of enrolment, the candidate must submit a written agreement from the mentor or possible co-mentor to accept the mentoring or co-mentoring. At the same time, the candidate must also submit a brief conceptual outline of the research.
