About the programme

The aim of the academic bachelor study programme Musical arts is to educate talented musicians who already possess relevant secondary school knowledge for work in the artistic professions related to the principle study of the programme.

The elective teaching module offers additional knowledge necessary for teaching in their fields. A completed bachelor’s degree enables the graduates to continue their studies on the master’s degree programme of musical arts. The graduates of the master’s degree will have gained satisfactory knowledge and skills to work as musical artist on the field of their primary study, while the additional teaching module enables them to teach in primary and secondary music schools.

The programme enables the graduates to work in various artistic fields, and at the same time it provides the necessary theoretical knowledge for their instrument.
