In this workshop, you will learn about collaborative learning and computer-supported collaborative learning, facilitated by online learning environments such as GoConqr, Edmodo, Nearpod, Moodle, Google Classroom, Trello, and Padlet. You’ll discover how these tools enrich collaborative learning and facilitate problem-based learning.

In this workshop, you will learn about the importance of formative assessment of knowledge, opinions, and ideas in the pedagogical process and how to support it most effectively using ICT. Through a comparative analysis of various tools in terms of assessment strategies, learning analytics, planning, and feedback options, you’ll gain a better understanding of the tools that can meaningfully support the formative monitoring of the learning process. You’ll also learn more about the capabilities of these tools. The workshop will focus on the possibilities of self-assessment and peer assessment.

During the workshop, you will learn about the elements of games in education and be introduced to the concept of gamification. With the aim of enriching the teaching process and gaining ideas for using game elements in the classroom, you will be introduced to various ICT tools, such as H5P, Kahoot, Socrative and plugins for the Moodle virtual classroom.

During the workshop, you will learn about the pedagogical wheel developed by Allan Carrington, which is based on Bloom’s taxonomy and incorporates various forms of ICT to support the teaching process. To this end, you will discover innovative approaches to learning and teaching, as well as a range of ICT tools that can support the teaching process. As an optional extra, we will also be presenting the pedagogical cycle for students with special educational needs.
