Multipliers
By establishing a community of multipliers across the University of Ljubljana’s member institutions, we aim to create an environment that will ensure the transfer of knowledge regarding the use of ICT in the teaching process, with the aim of actively involving all students in the teaching process to encourage the use of higher-order cognitive processes, linked to the development of the skills and knowledge required for the 21st century across various fields of study.

The project implementer aims to establish a structured and unified digital environment for working with data, which will support the entire process of analysing, interpreting and reporting results. At present, students work in fragmented environments, which leads to inconsistent approaches and makes it difficult to compare results. The upgrade involves the introduction of virtual servers with a transparent organisation of all raw data for students, standardised Jupyter Notebook templates for data analysis, and a template for preparing scientific reports in the LaTeX environment. The aim is to improve the quality of students’ work and bring them closer to the working methods used in research practice.

The aim of the upgrade is for the contractor to develop and implement an AR/VR teaching model designed to improve understanding of the abstract concepts of electric, magnetic and current fields. This will shift teaching from static presentation to interactive and problem-based learning that integrates mathematics, physical concepts and engineering practice. The aim is to increase students’ active participation, motivation and the quality of their learning, whilst also creating a transferable model of good practice for wider application.

The instructor is introducing the systematic use of coding agents—which operate on the basis of large language models—as learning tools. Instead of passively following lectures, students will independently develop interactive software visualizations of theoretical concepts. With the help of these tools, students will create their own solutions, present them, and reflect on them; the best projects will become learning resources for future generations. In this way, learning shifts from the reproduction of knowledge to creation and understanding.

Developing scientific literacy through artificial intelligence and interdisciplinary collaboration
Opis
The multiplier is developing an extension of the course based on the systematic integration of artificial intelligence into the process of scientific research and writing. Students will use artificial intelligence as a support tool in searching for, analyzing, and synthesizing scientific literature, while also developing critical judgment regarding its limitations, biases, and ethical implications. Particular emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration among students from different degree programs, who will work in groups to prepare review articles with real potential for publication. The process will be supported by workshops on the use of AI and data visualization tools.

The project leader aims to develop a blended learning model that combines artificial intelligence, collaborative digital tools and simulation elements to support problem-based learning. The project focuses on the systematic examination of structured case studies, such as inspection checks, ethical dilemmas and the assessment of animal welfare conditions. In doing so, students will work in small groups to use artificial intelligence to assist them in analysing legal sources, formulating arguments and reviewing decisions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the critical and responsible use of technology and on reflecting on one’s own decision-making.

The lecturer proposes an upgrade to the courses “International Business Logistics” and “Business Logistics Management,” which are taught in a practice-oriented and potentially hybrid learning environment with a relatively heterogeneous student group. This stems from the need for a more comprehensive learning model that would better integrate asynchronous and synchronous learning, strengthen students’ active role, and allow them greater flexibility and independence in their work. The course aims to develop a structured model of digitally supported blended learning (e-blended learning model) using interactive e-materials in the Canvas environment, which will include videos, podcasts, infographics, in-the-moment quizzes, and practical assignments. In addition, the course aims to meaningfully incorporate AI to support learning and case analysis, and to enable students to work on real-world challenges from companies in collaboration with external experts.

The idea behind the upgrade is for the provider to enhance the existing digital infrastructure (Project Tomo) with artificial intelligence for analyzing learning data, thereby gaining a comprehensive pedagogical insight into the progress of students or cohorts. Based on these insights, the teacher can tailor lectures, exercises, and assignments more effectively. The upgrade is aimed at improving the quality of teaching and student support, not at automating pedagogical decisions.

The multiplier introduces a structured pedagogical model for teaching with generative artificial intelligence and about artificial intelligence. The goal is to build upon existing practical work with AI through a more systematic approach that equips students to use AI actively, independently, and critically when solving authentic business and logistics problems. This update addresses the need for the responsible use of AI in the modern business environment and enhances the quality and effectiveness of the learning process.

As part of the “Sports and Recreation” course, the multiplier proposes the development of a digital e-book with video-supported exercise content that enhances the existing course with the aim of better connecting theory and practice in physical education. This involves the introduction of structured, modular, and digitally supported learning materials that enable students to engage in in-depth, flexible, and individualized learning even outside of class hours. The e-book includes video demonstrations, explanations of biomechanical principles, guided questions, quizzes, and reflective journals that guide students from observation to analysis and improvement of their own performance. The goal of this update is to foster independent, reflective, and analytical learning, while also enabling students to track their progress and apply their knowledge in practical settings.
