Extracurricular activities

Full-time enroled international students and exchange students are welcome to join the sports events which are organised at the University of Ljubljana.

• At the Centre for Extrcurricular activities we offer many different sports activities for students of the University of Ljubljana;
• For example: functional training, fitness, bootcamp, pilates, yoga, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, football etc. More information is here.
• For events we use POPR platform - please find the schedule here; 
• All the sports programs are free of charge for students of the University of Ljubljana (please provide your student card at the entrance and extra clean sports shoes); 
• The applications open every day at 6 am for the programs of this day

• There is a possibility to attend all the trainings via zoom link – apply in POPR for »Dostop preko spleta«;

1. Visit the website https://popr.uni-lj.si/.
2. If you are enrolled students at University of Ljubljana, click on the »Students« tab and log in with your student digital ID ID (e.g. ab1234@uni-lj.si and a password that is the same as the one you use to access your VIS/ŠIS).
3. If you are exchange students, click on the “Exchange students” tab and select Registration. Fill out the form with your data. After receiving confirmation e-mail you sifn into the platform with your chosen username and password.  

• To find an event, click on “Search” under the POPR logo, then “Events”. Search for an event in the "Calendar" or in “Quick Search” field using a keyword (e.g. “pilates”, “stand up”).
• Select an event and register by clicking on the red button “Register now”.
• You will receive a confirmation email with a link to the event and a reminder the day before the event.
• What if I don’t receive a confirmation email? By default, emails are sent to your student email address, but you may also change it to another email address that you prefer to use (My profile – Contact information – Edit – Next – Save).
• If you are unable to attend the event, deregister from it so that others on the waiting list can take your place.
• If you have problems with registration send email to popr@uni-lj.si.  

The Personal and Professional Development Portal (POPR) serves as an access point for students providing a wide range of opportunities.

• Register for events that will help you enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Search for student work and check job vacancies and other career opportunities.
• Make an appointment for individual guidance.
•  Get information on potential employers.
• Access the history of your participation in various activities, which is always available and can help you in writing your CV or preparing various applications.
• You can specify what information you wish to receive and the frequency of e-notifications in your profile. We advise you to change your email address from the default to the one you check frequently, as you will receive links to events and other important information at this address.
