Education leads to a variety of different professions and career paths that individuals can pursue. For certain professions, certain requirements must be met or certain professional qualifications acquired, which are defined by laws or regulations. These are the regulated professions.

Information

A list of regulated professions, together with the professional activities and the conditions for practicing them, can be found on the SPOT State Portal fod Business Entities.

Many professions also require a professional exam. During the academic year, the UL Career Centres organise presentations on the individual professional exams and how to prepare for them. The presentations are published on the POPR portal, where you can also register for them. In cooperation with various organisations, we usually organise presentations of the social welfare, educational and legal state examinations. You can find out more about the exams on the Slovenian version of the website.
