Applicants shall apply for the status of a candidate with special needs or a candidate with special status in the application and admission procedure for admission to Bachelor's and Single Cycle Master's degree programmes at the same time as they submit their application for admission, by the deadline set out in the Call for Enrolment (Slovenian version). In their application, they must indicate that they wish to apply for a status of a candidate with special needs or special status and attach the relevant documents proving their special needs or special status. The status of a candidate with special needs or special status allows candidates to be admitted to a study programme retroactively (beyond the number of places available) if they:

  • meet the general requirements for admission to the study programme,
  • were not admitted to any of the programmes in the regular selection procedure,
  • have achieved at least 90% of the minimum number of points required for admission.

Enrolment in Master’s and Doctoral Study Programs

After enrolment: Status of a student with special needs and special status

The Rules on Students with Special Needs and Special Status at the University of Ljubljana regulate the procedure and conditions for obtaining the status of a student with special needs and special status and define possible adjustments and support for studies.

If you have been granted special needs or special status during the application and admission process, this does not automatically mean that you will also be granted special needs/special status. You must apply for special status from the member faculty or academy after you have enrolled in your studies.
