Opportunities for employees

The University of Ljubljana Development Fund may cover the costs of hosting visiting professors and researchers at the University of Ljubljana who collaborate with SMUL members leading ERC projects.

It can also finance travel expenses (up to EUR 1,000.00) for University of Ljubljana professors and researchers visiting SMUL members employed at KU Leuven, universities that are members of The Guild and EUTOPIA or universities included in the TOP15 list (EU universities and research organisations that have been the most successful in FP7 and H2020 projects).

The Erasmus+ grant co-finances teaching staff exchanges, primarily in the form of lectures, which may also be combined with training.

The member institution (academy/faculty) where you are employed will be able to tell you more about the Erasmus+ grant opportunities available to you.

University of Ljubljana researchers can also apply for ARIS bilateral calls for scientific research cooperation with selected countries. These calls provide funding for hosting and exchange visits. The partnering country issues its own call to fund researchers on its side.
