Doctoral studies, and thus the training of top experts in mathematics and physics, therefore make an important contribution to the development of top experts in other fields as well. The aim of the doctoral programme in Mathematics and Physics is to train doctoral candidates for cutting-edge research in the various fields of physics and mathematics, taking into account the great need for breadth of knowledge, which is essential to enable young professionals to be involved in multidisciplinary research and development teams.
