Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering of the University of Ljubljana (UL FGG) provides education in civil engineering, geodesy, environmental civil engineering, building construction and spatial planning. There are few faculties where students can choose from so many studies, courses, modules and electives.

The common basis for all the study and scientific disciplines at UL FGG is natural resources – land, space, water, air; natural and man-made materials and products. The faculty opens many doors in life. After a few years of education and research, graduates have a good basis for setting up their own business, developing an academic career, or working in teams around important projects.

The studies are dynamic, stimulate entrepreneurship and creativity, and offer practical insights into solving society's problems and challenges. They are designed for students with an aptitude for technical sciences and an inclination to use computing, who want to combine office and field work. It places graduates among the builders of important buildings, the planners of significant change, and provides them with varied and interesting work, with creative challenges, for the benefit of society and humanity.
