Academy of Fine Arts and Design
The Academy of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Ljubljana (UL ALUO) is dedicated to teaching and research in the fields of artistic creation, design, restoration and conservation of works of art, and theoretical knowledge in these areas.
As the highest educational and artistic institution in the Republic of Slovenia dealing with the visual arts, UL ALUO strives to maintain excellence in teaching, artistic, research and professional development work. In doing so, it draws on European artistic, educational, scientific and general cultural traditions from antiquity onwards, consolidates national identity and increases Slovenia's visibility in Europe and the wider world.
