I'm Sara and I am absolvent medical student from Faculty of Medicine University of Ljubljana, currently on cardiosurgery mobility programme in Memorial Hermann hospital Texas Medical Center in Houston (programme is coordinated by renowned Dr Igor Gregorič and Faculty of Medicine University of Ljubljana). Last year, I had wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant academic and cultural environment of Tartu, Estonia, through the Erasmus+ programme. While I dedicate my spare time to spreading smiles through charity organization for disabled children and youth, organizing events and inclusive workshops, it's clear that my heart belongs to the world of pediatrics. Hailing from Serbia and finding my way to the vibrant University of Ljubljana, I understand the challenges of being a foreign student or facing difficulties on campus. I am a Representative of the 2^nd year of undergraduate studies and a member of the Student Council and Academic Assembly of SEB LU. I enrolled at SEB LU in Slovenian language in 2021 after finishing secondary school in Skopje, North Macedonia. I became a student tutor, international student ambassador of the University of Ljubljana (UL), and a member of the commission for extracurricular activities of the UL. Since 2022, I am also the founder and president of the student initiative Macedonian student organization in Slovenia leading cultural exchange and cooperation between North Macedonia and Slovenia.

So happy to see you are interested in programs offered by the University of Ljubljana. My name is Tanja Paneva, PhD student in third year in the field of administrative sciences. My previous MA background is in political science and my current PhD research is about digitalization of public services. If you’ve ever wondered whether to enroll in a PhD program and what awaits on the way, please feel free to contact me. Each of us was once at the beginning of the studies with lots of questions needed to be answered, so now we have the chance to connect, exchange experiences, learn and grow together.
