Choosing your studies is one of the most important decisions of your life. We suggest you think carefully about what you like, as it makes studying much easier. Visit our websites and social networks of the faculties you are interested in, learn all there is to know when choosing to study at our University, and prepare your questions. COMPLETED EVENTS
On 22nd of June 2023, all biggest universities in Slovenia (University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, University of Primorska and University of Nova Gorica) presented opportunities for studying on EU Opportunity Week in Belgrade. The main focus was to introduce Serbian (prospective) students with benefits of studying in Slovenia, because of bilateral agreement that Slovenia has concluded with this country. As part of the event, we participated in a moderated presentation where we presented the opportunities for studying in Slovenia, in a podcast (in collaboration with the Serbian national television RTS) and an interview for the Serbian national television N1. In the podcast, representative of University of Ljubljana, talked with representatives of France institute and representatives of DAAD about exchanges, possibilities for studies in Europe and integration of Serbia and the EU. In the interview for N1, the representatives of the University of Ljubljana and the University of Nova Gorica talked about all the opportunities that Serbian students have in Slovenia, and also about the personal experience of international student at Slovenian universities. ONLINE SESSIONS FOR PROSPECTIVE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, 27 February 2023 at 1 and 2 p.m. CET
You are welcome to join us at the University of Ljubljana online presentations in English, which will be held on 27 February 2023 at 1 and 2 pm CET. We will present the Slovenian educational system, study possibilities at the University of Ljubljana, the benefits of students' status, living in Slovenia and other useful information. Then some of our members will introduce themselves to you and be available for any questions you may have about studying with them. To attend those presentations, please REGISTER HERE. If you need any advice or help with the application-admission procedure for undergraduate studies or you have any questions about the recognition of foreign secondary education, you are welcome to join the University of Ljubljana online Q & A session, which will be held on 3 March 2023 at 2 pm CET. We will do our best to provide you with all the information and answers to any questions you may have. The Q & A online session will be held in English and is intended for students from abroad, who are interested in studying in Slovenia and have questions related to the application and admission process for undergraduate studies and the process of recognition of foreign high school education. INFORMATION DAYS FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES, 17 and 18 February 2023
The information days for undergraduate studies at the academies and faculties will be organized on 17 and 18 February 2023. During the Information Days, you will find out everything there is to know about our Bachelor's and Single-cycle master's degree programmes, about different career options and about student life in Ljubljana. Students, parents and teachers are invited to spend a day attending online events, talking to staff and students and getting answers to any questions which remain after examining brochures and websites. INFORMATIVA, 20 and 21 January 2023
A pan-Slovenian education and career fair INFORMATIVA will be held on 20 and 21 January 2023 at the Gospodarsko razstavišče Ljubljana. You will be able to meet with the representatives from the University of Ljubljana faculties and academies rendering degree programmes in Art, Fine Arts, Natural Science, Technology and Engineering, Social Sciences, Humanities, Medicine and Health Sciences, Sport.
KLUB ZAMEJSKIH ŠTUDENTOV, 10 February 2023
You are invited to a presentation of study opportunities in Slovenia, organised by the Klub zamejskih študentov in cooperation with the Government Office for Slovenians abroad. You will have the opportunity to learn about the opportunities Slovenia offers to young graduates from abroad and to compare them with studying in Italy. This will be followed by a presentation of all four Slovenian Universities and the application-admission process to universities in Slovenia. More information in Slovene.
