Biotechnical Faculty
The core mission of the Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Ljubljana (UL BF) is university, higher professional and postgraduate education, scientific research, professional and advisory work in the life sciences (biology, microbiology), agriculture, forestry and fisheries (forestry, zootechnics, agronomy) and related production technologies (forestry, food science, biotechnology). Natural resources (land, space, flora, fauna, fauna, water) are the common basis of all the study and scientific disciplines at the UL BF.
The Faculty's focus on the study of natural resources and their sustainable management places it among the social institutions that every nation must have if it wishes to form and maintain its identity. Research and education related to the life and natural sciences also give UL BF a great responsibility to create the professional and scientific basis and to strengthen the social climate for a lasting harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
