Frequently asked questions about exercising the rights of students at the University of Ljubljana
Enrolling in the next year of a different academic programme

DO STUDENTS EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT TO CHANGE PROGRAMMES OR TRACKS BY ENROLLING IN THE NEXT YEAR OF A DIFFERENT PROGRAMME?

Enrolling in the next year of a different programme means that students have exercised their right to change programmes or tracks.

This also derives from the provision of the second paragraph of Article 70 of the Higher Education Act (ZVIS): "Notwithstanding the fourth indent of the previous paragraph (if a student fails to graduate in a first- or second-cycle programme within 12 months of the end of the last semester), student status ceases at the end of the last semester if the student repeated a year or changed their academic programme or track during the course of their studies.
