INTEGRATING IN THE SLOVENIAN ENVIRONMENT AND LEARNING THE SLOVENIAN LANGUAGE

Help for students from Ukraine in integrating into the Slovenian environment and learning the Slovenian language

Students of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana from the Department of Slavic Studies offer free help in the form of teaching Slovenian, socializing, supporting and getting to know life in Ljubljana. For students with a certain prior knowledge of Slovenian, they offer informal meetings where, through conversation with students, they would get rid of their fear of communicating in a foreign language and strengthen their ability to express themselves.
For beginners, if there is a sufficient number of interested, they are ready to re-organize a course on the basics of Slovenian, as they did last year. Through common informal gatherings, they want to help everyone to feel at home and accepted as much as possible, and to communicate more easily with their colleagues and professors in Slovenian.

If you would like to learn the basics of the Slovenian language or practice expressing yourself in Slovenian, please contact  or . You can also join the Facebook group where we will publish all current information - https://www.facebook.com/groups/852403746440065/.

*Please do not contact students with questions regarding documentation for studies, residence, etc. For this purpose, use the other links available at www.uni-lj.si/study and www.uni-lj.si/study/information/temporary-residence-permit-in-the-republic-of-slovenia. For more information about obtaining a residence permit, you can write to .
