YOUR COMPANY
POLOPLAST, member of Wietersdorfer Group, develops and produces high-performance plastic pipe systems. Their excellence stems from decades of experience in multi-layer technology. POLOPLAST excels in Austria and Germany, with significant sales in Italy, France, and the Nordic countries. Your base will be at the POLOPLAST headquarters in Leonding, Austria, which also houses the highly automated production site.
The Austrian Wietersdorfer Group is an international industrial company in the building materials and piping sectors. Its business areas include cement & concrete, lime, industrial minerals, GRP, and thermoplastic piping systems. YOUR JOB
Join our dynamic team and work closely with the CFO and Controlling department. You will have the unique opportunity to provide essential support in the budgeting process, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience. In addition to your general support role, you will be entrusted with a specific project that can be completed within a 4-6 week period.
YOUR TASKS
- Developing in cooperation with the controlling and planning departments an optimal plan for a specific production machine (extrusion and fitting production).
- Calculating contribution margins and specific pricing models for different markets within a specific product portfolio.
- Estimating potential savings for specific raw material demands based on production savings and optimization.
Verifying base data & parameters in the planning process.
Analyzing stock movements and determining the optimal stock level for a specific product portfolio
YOUR SKILLS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, and/or in a technical field
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills and talented in mathematics
- An open and curious person
- Fluency in English, basic knowledge in German preferred but not obligatory
